Universiti Malaya Centre for Civilisational Dialogue (UMCCD) is organising a two-day International Conference on Civilisational Dialogue (ICONCIDI'22) on 17-18 August 2022. This is the third ICONCIDI Conference series organised by UMCCD after the success of the two ICONCIDI International Conferences held in 2019 and 2017 respectively. A diverse and interesting volume of papers, analyses and ideas have been presented and put forth from a wide array of distinguished speakers and presenters. This year, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the mode of the event will be on a virtual platform. Notwithstanding this, the conference will still celebrate the interest, expertise, and scholarly sharing of many around the globe with a new theme for an enriching and intellectual discourse.
The objectives of this Conference are to (i) foster integration and platform for great minds to meet and discourse on a vital topic that concerns the current and future generations; (ii) engage and grow networks and building of networking avenues from around the globe; and (iii) stimulate collective, effective, forward-looking, and productive actions, thoughts, and strategies towards the building of sustainable civilisation of the future.
We have a line-up of eminent scholars speaking on a variety of topics such as Climate Justice, Science & Religion, Sustainable Development, Social Justice, Future of Civilisations, and more. Selected paper presentations will also be processed for publication in an indexed journal.
